    Job Description & Qualifications

    Job Summary

    Manage relationships with key vendors. Balance effective cost management, resourcing capacity, work efficiency, quality and risk coverage while maximizing benefits capture.

     

    Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

    • Manages and facilitates projects within the program.
    • Secures commitments from line managers and negotiates for resources with contractors and third parties.
    • Manages overall program budget, risks and mitigation planning.
    • Manages change and acceptance initiatives brought about by program activities.
    • Manages a core team of dedicated resources including time and task management, performance, development, goal and objective setting.
    • Develops policies and procedures.

    Nature and Scope

    • Solutions require analysis and investigation.
    • Achieves planned results by decisions and actions based on professional methods, business principles, and practical experience.
    • Manages a group or team of professional individual contributors and/or indirectly supervises support staff.

    Work Environment

    • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
    • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
    • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

    Education and Experience

    • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 7+ years of experience in a related field. May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

    Preferred Qualifications & Job Specific Details

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 10+ years experience in project and/or PMO environment
    • Experience within a matrix management environment.
    • Staff management experience preferred.
    • Familiarity with CMMI and/or ITIL preferred.
    • Formal project management training and/or PMI Certification highly preferred.
    • Business Acumen
    • PMP and ScrumMaster Certification
    • Knowledge of SAP for and ERP or similar complexity implementations (Oracle, PeopleSoft, Workday)
    • Knowledge of Wholesale Distribution
    • Knowledge of PMBOK
    • Significant knowledge of agile values, principles, and the Scrum and Safe frameworks.
    • At least one year experience in the role of Scrum Master or Iteration Manager diligently applying agile and Scrum principles and practices.
    • Knowledge of and experience with other agile frameworks (Kanban, Extreme Programming, etc.).
    • Experience demonstrating, and coaching others in, the areas of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and transparency.
    • Excellent communication skills with experience engaging personnel at all levels of the organization.
    • Ideally, has supported multiple business functions: e.g. sales, marketing, finance, or supply chain.
