Job Description & Qualifications

Job Summary            

Responsible for coordinating the day-to-day marketing activities for a business unit.  Assist in the implementation of policies and procedures, customer/client solutions and project management.


Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Assists department with all aspects of direct marketing campaigns including campaign set-up, quality control, campaign distribution and post-campaign reporting.
  • Handles daily tasks for a marketing campaign, flyer, events or marketing pieces.
  • Identifies client needs and makes calls to various customers.
  • Performs tracking, data entry, and reporting for campaign events.
  • May assist with coordinating events such as trade shows, inter-company events, and supporting hospitality events. Works directly with event management to ensure the event runs according to plan.
  • May support special projects as well as perform some administrative functions such as data management and basic data analysis.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Nature and Scope

  • Selects correct processes from clearly prescribed rules, past practices or instruction. Seeks advice and guidance on non routine or problem areas from supervisor. Deviations from the norm are cleared by the supervisor.

  • Under close supervision, exercises limited latitude/independent judgment. Work typically involves detailed checks or close review of output by a senior co-worker and/or supervisor.
  • None 

Work Environment 

  • Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting and maneuvering material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
  • Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time. 

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Must be eighteen years of age
  • Must pass the Drug Test
  • Must pass the Background Check
  • Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable 

Education and Experience 

  • HS Diploma or GED,strongly preferred. 0-2 years of experience in area of responsibility.

  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, with exposure to direct marketing preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications preferred.
  • $17.00 Per Hour
